TRANSPORT SERVICES

Our Commitment

Light Disability Services transport services aim to assist individuals with disabilities in accessing transportation for their everyday needs, activities, and appointments. These services help participants maintain independence, enhance community participation, and ensure they can access necessary supports. Here are some key aspects of transport services for NDIS participants:

1
Transport to Appointments

This includes transportation assistance to medical appointments, therapy sessions, specialist visits, and other essential health-related appointments.

2
Community Access

Transport services enable individuals to access and participate in community-based activities, such as attending social events, recreational outings, shopping, and engaging in cultural or educational activities.

3
Work or Employment-Related Transport

Support is provided to individuals who require transportation to and from their workplace or employment-related activities.

4
Assistance with Public Transport

Some participants may require support and guidance in using public transportation. Transport services may include accompanying individuals on public transport, providing orientation and training, and ensuring safe and accessible travel.

5
Door-to-Door Transport

In cases where participants require additional assistance due to mobility or other challenges, door-to-door transport services may be provided. This involves picking up individuals from their residence and dropping them off at their destination.

6
Non-Emergency Medical Transport

Transport services may cover non-emergency medical transportation, including trips to hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities for treatments, consultations, and diagnostic tests.
